AVI Constructor version 1.4. What's New in AVI Constructor Version 1.4? Fixed -When building the avi, AVI constructor was filling up the disk if it had to resize a lot of images. This was causing the disk to get fill up - this was fixed. -When adding images from the Add Images window, the images were being added in reverse order (opps) - Fix this. Added: -Build AVI from selection. -Build True Color AVI from selection. -Reverse Selection to the list menu. This reverses the selection (the selected files). -Two Buttons to the main window. The left button creates an AVI given the format of the first image. The second AVI creates an AVI as a true color avi. -Renamed Make Movie -> Make AVI -Renamed Make True Color Movie -> Make True Color AVI. Tips A 256 Color AVI is Faster in 256 Color Mode. When you have images that are 256 colors try using "make avi" instead of "Make True Color AVI". If the resulting AVI looks bad try building the AVI as a True color AVI and then extracting the images from that avi and rebuilding it (in 256 color mode). By default, A True Color AVI will display slower in 256 color mode ( you multimedia player must create a palette for each 24 bit image in 256 color mode-this takes time). How do I convert a True Color AVI to a 256 color AVI? First build it as an true color AVI and then extract the images (use get images from avi ...) in 256 color mode and rebuild it. By default, When you extract images from an AVI, the images are in the same format as your current color mode.
